    Check your receipt or the box. On faucets, look for a tag on the supply hoses under the sink. Toilets often have a stamp inside the tank.

  2. Take photos

    Photograph the product from the front and the side, the handle close up, and the part that’s broken or worn.

  3. Measure if you can

    For faucets, note the number of holes in the counter. For shower trims, measure the plate across.
